What researches say on sleeping
No day is so bad it can’t be fixed with a nap. ~Carrie Snow
Getting enough sleep or a nap is indisputably one of the healthy habits. Now researches are trying to prove this fact.
A study found out that taking a nap after lunch may be good for your heart. Office nappers now have the perfect excuse.
Those occasionally napping had a 12% lower coronary mortality, whereas those systematically napping had a 37% lower coronary mortality. Among men, the inverse association was stronger when the analysis was restricted to those who were currently working at enrollment, whereas among women, a similar analysis was not possible because of the small number of deaths.
A research by Cornell psychology professor James B. Maas shows that if you get less than eight hours of sleep a night, you are operating impaired; your alertness, productivity and creativity, and general health are all affected.

Ah, I always knew that me napping DURING work was good for me. Being a slacker has its health benefits, LOL. Now, that fact is scientifically proven, hehe.
So, the next time I fall asleep in a corporate meeting and my boss wakes me up, I’ll tell him about that scientific fact. The company will benefit as everyone is getting enough sleep = which leads to healthier people = which leads to no one calling in sick = which means better, more productive workforce = which means $$$. Hehe.
